Access Auditing

What is Access Auditing?

Access Auditing is an assessment of the surroundings in different environments to determine how accessible it is to members of the disabled community. 

A report will be provided following the assessment to recommend acceptable reasonable adjustments in your premises to ensure it meets the needs of the workplace or the client in line with the Equality Act 2010.

How is it useful to me?

Whether it's for individual needs, care homes, construction sites or other workplaces, it's important to make premises' accessible to all who may need to use it. 

Making a premises physically accessible removes the first barrier that a disabled person may face, and is the first step to creating an equal and inclusive environment wherever it may be.

In the Workplace

Create a friendlier environment with the best reasonable adjustments for accessible to invite inclusion into your workplace. This will help create a safe space for your staff to create and innovate, making your business all the more successful.

Construction Sites

We offer site surveys to ensure your construction site does not impede on access for all, including people with a variety of impairments. This includes but is not limited to; signage, temporary road closures and barriers on pavements. 

Private Dwelling

We can assess your home to help point you in the right direction for your own personal accessibility needs, helping to make your house feel like your home again. 

This can include recommendations for a wide range of accessible facilities, from a walk in shower, to guard rails or even help you plan for a property extension to increase your accessible living space.

Residential or Nursing Homes

Residential and Nursing homes require full access audits to ensure they fully comply with CQC requirements, we can ensure these inspections run more smoothly by helping to guide you in removing any physical barriers. As well as helping to make the premises safer by ways of ensuring you are fully fire safety compliant should the worst happen by making sure that the individuals using the facilities have access to all the areas they need to keep themselves safe in an emergency.
